MOBILIZE PEOPLE'S ENERGY TO PARTICIPATE IN ENSURING TRANSPORTATION - A GREAT SUCCESS OF THE HAI PHONG CITY PARTY COMMITTEE IN THE YEARS OF FIGHTING AGAINST THE FIRST SABOTAGE WAR (1965 - 1968)

Abstract

Promoting the strength of the entire people is a great lesson in the history of national construction and defense of the Vietnamese people. However, as the war has been far behind, many events that have occurred in our country have shown signs of “dodging away” in some places, which are not really value and know how to rely on people. Therefore, this research paper as a powerful demonstration affirming the great strength of the people in any historical period, especially in the most fierce years of the first fight against the first destructive war (1965-1968) in Hai Phong. The paper uses universal methods of historical science and collects documents from the documents of the Party Committee, local government, domestic and foreign research projects, based on the Marxism-Leninism methodology. The research clarifies the outstanding contributions and important role of the people of Hai Phong in the overall victory of the Party Committee, army and people of the port city on the transportation front. Thereby drawing some important lessons about the relationship between the Party and the people in the cause of construction and national defense.
