Abstract

The paper presents some views on experiential teaching and the role of experiential activities in the general education curriculum. The authors evaluated the real situation of organizing experiential activities in teaching grade 6 mathematics, thereby analyzing the causes and proposing experiential teaching process based on the process of David Kolb. The authors used practical research methods and expert methods. The article presents two experiential activities and how to organize these activities in teaching. Research results have shown that experiential activities are appropriate and effective, contributing to innovating teaching methods, developing thinking manipulations and problem solving skills for students.
