STUDY ON TWO "CUC HOA" SAMPLES IN HUNG YEN, THAI NGUYEN BY MORPHOLOGICAL AND MICROSCOPIC METHODS

Abstract
Cuc hoa has been used as medicine for a long time in Vietnam. Now many species are being used with the common name "Cuc hoa". The study was conducted with the aim of describing morphological and microbiological characteristics of 2 Chrysanthemum samples collected in Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen. Research method: Description and analysis of plant characteristics and microbiological characterization of powder by research method with microscopy of the author Tran Cong Khanh. Results: The two samples have similar morphological characteristics, which can be distinguished based on the disc floret characteristics of the two samples. From the morphological characteristics and based on Flora of Vietnam vol 7, Flora of China, Vol 20-21, two samples have been identified with the scientific name: Chrysanthemum indicum L., Asteraceae. Micro-characteristics of both sample have the following characteristics: stamen fragment consists of many elongated cells, vascular fragments, pistil-head piece with many protruding cells, pistil soft tissue, bracts of bracts, petal fragments; pollen fragments, spherical pollen grains 3-sided, spiky surface.
