CREATING EMPLOYMENTS FOR RURAL LABORS IN THAI THUY DISTRICT, THAI BINH PROVINCE

Abstract
The study was conducted to assess the current situation and propose solutions to create jobs for rural labors in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province. The study used descriptive statistics, comparative statistics, and statistical disaggregation methods. The research results have evaluated the results of job creation for rural workers in Thai Thuy district in the period of 2019-2021. In order to have a basis for providing effective solutions, the study has determined the current distribution of labor by occupation in the study area and identified six basic causes leading to underemployment, including lack of expertise and skills; lack of arable land; lack of production capital; lack of employment information; lack of infrastructure; and lack of supportive policy. With the proposed solutions, the study has profound practical significance for the job creation for rural workers in Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province.
