Abstract

In the current context of educational innovation, assessment is an extremely important factor, associated with teaching and learning activities, and has the effect of adjusting and improving the quality of teaching and learning. However, in what form? Which tool? It is one of the great challenges for teachers in teaching. This study aims to help determine the level of students' creativity and problem-solving creativity, thereby giving a specific orientation in teaching to develop this capacity in teaching reading and understanding texts and stories in high school for students. On the basis of theoretical research, the article has proposed a number of tools to assess students' problem solving and creativity: The teacher's observation checklist; Student rubrics and tests. Research results show that the use of creative and problem-solving capacity assessment tools in teaching activities will help teachers comprehensively assess this ability of learners with a variety of assessment tool, contributing to measuring the achievement of the goal of educational innovation towards developing competence and quality for learners today. At the same time, the results of the study are useful references for Literature teacher in high schools.
