DESIGN MATHEMATICAL LESSON PLAN IN STEM EDUCATION-ORIENTED AT GRADE 4TH

Abstract
STEM education is a new educational model of the world, integrating many subjects and skills to help students develop and meet social needs. This educational model is suitable with the current goal of Vietnam's educational development, which is to focus on developing learners' competency. STEM education has been officially implemented in primary schools in Vietnam from the school year 2023-2024, so teachers recently face many difficulties and surprises. The STEM education model will narrow the gap between academia and practice. This study uses the method of theoretical research: synthesis, analysis, and review documents related to STEM education (the concept of STEM education, forms of STEM education, the role of STEM education for students) and propose the process of designing lesson plans for grade 4 Math in the direction of STEM education. At the same time, the study illustrated with a lesson plan, named: Acute angle, obtuse angle, straight angle. The study is a useful document for primary school teachers to practice designing lesson plans for Grade 4 Math in the direction of STEM education.
