Abstract

Simulation is an experiential teaching method utilized by educators to replicate or imitate real-life events, phenomena, or issues in order to achieve desired educational outcomes. Currently, the laboratory equipment available in schools does not fully support teachers in delivering highly abstract learning content, particularly when teaching specialized topics in the 2018 curriculum. Consequently, the results in significant time being spent by teachers searching for images, videos, and other materials, as well as giving lectures in the classroom. This article presents a simulation software designed to assist teachers in teaching the content of X-rays in the specialized topic 12.2 in a more visually engaging manner. The software focuses on two main aspects: simulating the X-ray machine and simulating the X-ray imaging process with basic human body parts. Through the utilization of this simulation application, it is hoped that teachers can seamlessly integrate it into their teaching methods, thereby enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of X-ray-related content.
