Abstract

The issue of happiness has been institutionalized in the documents of the Communist Party of Vietnam, has received attention and guidance from the Government. In the roadmap to autonomous universities, the satisfaction of students, or more precisely, the “customers” of the educational and training service provider unit, the university, is becoming increasingly important. Researching and measuring student satisfaction is a significant matter both in theory and practice in the current context. The study was conducted with the purpose of proposing a tool for university management, providing actual data on student satisfaction levels. The research employed a sociological survey method with students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, processed using the weighted average method with SPSS and Google Sheets. The results indicate no significant difference in student satisfaction levels among different social groups. Student satisfaction stands at 6.36 on a scale of 10, which is reasonably good but not high enough to conclude that students are entirely satisfied. There are several areas for improvement to enhance this index.
