Abstract

Administration of lesson study activities of the divisions contributes to the development of the school by improving the quality of teaching - learning, and continuously upgrading teachers’ professional competencies as well, in order to implement the 2018 General Education Curriculum. The study aimed to access to the current situation of awareness of managers’ role, the administration contents, and difficulties to administrate lesson study activities of the divisions at secondary schools. The paper used surveying and depth-interview and statistical analysis by Excel methods. The result shows that the administration of lesson-based study activities of the divisions at secondary schools was important and essential; however, it had some disadvantages of implementing in Backan province. Hence, the paper suggested measures to effectively administrate lesson study activities of the divisions at secondary schools of this province.
