MYTHS OF THE TAY PEOPLE IN BA BE, BAC KAN IN RELATIONESHIP WITH THE FOLK CULTURE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
Mythology continues to be a popular form of folk fiction today, particularly appealing to the spiritual needs of the Tay people in Ba Be, Bac Kan. It also establishes the idea and foundation for numerous different kinds of Tay folktales. Studying the Tay Ba Be myth's appearance and its connection to the cultural setting, however, is still an issue that requires clarification. This study employed a range of interdisciplinary research techniques, fieldwork, document synthesis, and analysis to address this issue and provide light on the appearance and intimate connection between mythology and the Tay people's beliefs, traditions, and celebrations in the Ba Be cultural region of Bac Kan. The Tay Ba Be mythological tales are derived from and mirror several spiritual practices, customs, and significant celebrations in the life of the Tay community in Bac Kan. Afterwards, the article emphasises the purpose and significance of mythological tales, which are stories with a lot of fantasy and mythical components. It also explains why these stories exist.
