THE INNOVATED EQUIPMENT TESTING THE SIGHT LINE FOR AK RIFLES BY TECHNOLOGY APP AT NHA TRANG UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Techniques of shooting AK rifles are very essential in the national defense education curriculum and related to other modules. The difficulties the lecturers have in using the MBT-03 shooting practice equipment and the limited duration of the program have prevented lecturers from instructing each student how to aim AK. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the improved device for testing the sight line of AK rifles using a technology app and a phone attached directly to an AK rifle. Moreover, this paper also reveals what the students thought about the device and whether the innovated device could improve the shooting results better. The population was 100 students majoring in Accounting of the 64th course. The quantitative methods (online survey, and comparison of shooting results) were used in this paper. The research results showed that the innovated device was cheap, compact and easy to be moved, and significantly improved the students’ shooting results. The innovated device has been using in the subjects relating to shooting AK rifles.
