Abstract

In this article, we present research results on the manifestations of climate change as well as some evidences on the impact of climate change on the lives of people in Bac Kan province. The research is based on collecting information and data on weather and climate changes and damage caused by natural disasters in the period 2013-2022 from agencies and localities. Information and data were collected, analyzed and evaluated in a transparent and accurate manner using statistical methods and descriptions. The article points out: (1) Evolution of climate and weather phenomena such as temperature, sunshine hours, rainfall, humidity, water level... and (2) Damages caused by natural disasters in Bac Kan province in the period 2013-2022. The research results are the basis for managers to develop plans, integrate measures to effectively use financial, human and natural resources to prevent and minimize damage caused by natural disasters. At the same time, research results also help raise awareness and stabilize people's lives, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development of the province.
