Tóm tắt

Detecting the persistent organic pigments in industrial wastewaters has attracted much attention of scientific community in recent years. However, making the chemical sensors based on facile nanomaterials remains a lot of challenges. In this study, microflower-like ZnO has been successfully fabricated through the hydrothermal method. Morphology and size of the as-obtained ZnO productions were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The optical properties of this material were obtained by absorption, fluorescence, Raman, and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) techniques. The crystal structure and chemical composition of the sample were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). The results showed that the microflower-like ZnO about 110 µm in size are composed of many flat plates about 200 nm in thickness. ZnO has the crystal structure of wurzite with bandgap energy of 2.94 eV and luminescence emission peak of 630.6 nm. ZnO-based SERS substrate could detect RhB at trace concentrations with a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 10-7 M.
