Abstract

Based on an analysis and identification of the ideological value of freedom in 18th-century French Enlightenment philosophy, this article affirms that inheriting and selectively adopting these values ​​will be significant for Vietnam in the context of perfecting the socialist rule of law, promoting socialist democracy, and developing human beings comprehensively in Vietnam today.
