Abstract

Economic Marxism argues for the inevitable path of forming a new mode of production to replace the capitalist mode of production. Faced with the multifaceted colors of liberalism in the West today, it seems that neoliberalism overwhelms Marxism. On the contrary, after many crises within modern capitalism, economic neoliberalism is not enough to explain the development of capitalism. The article analyzes and identifies neoliberalism and the unchanging nature of capitalism; affirms that Marxism still retains its contemporary value in arguing for the inevitable path of humanity to a better future.
