Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought on the role of culture and the advancement of Vietnamese cultural values in contemporary society

Abstract

In the context of the current market economy and international integration, the issue of building and promoting the cultural values of Vietnamese people is a basic and urgent requirement to orient and adjust social behavior to meet the requirements of sustainable national development. The article analyzes the viewpoints of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought on the role of culture; on that basis, it proposes some orientations in applying the viewpoints of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's thought to promote the cultural values of Vietnam today.
