Abstract

The article presents the model of a self-sufficient garden implemented at the Center for National Defense and Security Education, University of Economics - Technology for Industries, as a practical solution integrating student training activities with internal economic development. By utilizing 1,000 square meters of land to grow vegetables, fruit trees, and herbs, the model has recorded positive outcomes in cost savings, experiential education, and sustainable development orientation. The article provides a detailed analysis of the economic, educational, and organizational benefits, while also proposing solutions for expansion and the potential for replication across the university
