Abstract

This study presents some statistical data analysis results on the characteristics of Binh Thuan province extracted from the General Statistics Office, Ministry of Planning and Investment in 1995-2022. The obtained results show remarkable features as follows: i) terrain diversity brings many labor opportunities in different industries; ii) The workforce in Binh Thuan province mainly focuses on agriculture and livestock. The agricultural market is also growing strongly, revealed by the increase in the number of farms and revenue from agricultural activities; iii) Public health in the province has improved quite positively, as shown by the reduced mortality rate, especially in young children. However, there are still
shortcomings that need to be considered, typically in the field of education, shown by the number of schools in Binh Thuan province has been gradually decreasing according to educational levels while the number of students and teachers has been also decreasing over time. These statistical analysis results can help individuals, businesses, and managers identify trends, thereby planning appropriate development strategies based on exploiting local potential.
