Abstract

The main research objective of the thesis is to study the factors affecting the completion progress of construction projects funded by the state budget in Binh Son District. On that basis, we propose recommendations to improve the delay in completing
civil construction projects in Binh Son District. The specific objectives of the study are: (1) to determine the factors affecting the progress of construction projects with state budget capital; and (2) to determine the degree of influence of factors on the progress of construction projects funded by the state budget in Binh Son District. The thesis has synthesized the theoretical basis of the investment project and the progress of completing the construction investment project, inherited the previous research works, and proposed a research model for the influence of factors affecting the progress of construction projects. The research model is designed with 39 observed variables belonging to 7 independent variables of factors. The results of the reliability test and the EFA factor analysis confirmed that the observed variables were suitable for the study. The results of the regression model show that there are four factors that affect the delay in project implementation, including: stability of the external environment, policy, decentralization of management, and capacity of stakeholders participating in the project.
