Abstract

The article is made to clarify the world of the characters in the novel “Mua xa nha” by Nguyen Thanh Nhan. The results show that there are typical types of characters in the novel such as: Reflective characters, characters with the ability to face and overcome adversity, and characters with personalization. In the novel “Mua xa nha” when addressing the theme of war, the author skillfully employs character development and various stylistic elements to portray characters grappling with profound reflections on the meaning of existence, especially in the context of the Cambodia border war.
