The goal of the topic is to understand the overview of related research and the theoretical basis of the internal control system in commercial banks according to Basel standards and the elements that constitute the internal control system in commercial banks. a credit institution as a basis to analyze and evaluate the current state of internal control effectiveness at commercial banks in Ho Chi Minh City. On the other hand, the topic proposes a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of internal control to contribute to improving management efficiency in operations at these units
