SOLUTIONS TO PROMOTE THE ADOPTION OF GREEN ACCOUNTING IN ENTERPRISES IN VIETNAM

Abstract

In the context of globalization and the urgent demand for sustainable development, the development and adoption of green accounting in Vietnamese enterprises has become an inevitable necessity. Green accounting is not only regarded as a managerial support tool but also plays a crucial role in reflecting and quantifying the impacts of the natural environment on the economy. This approach is consistent with Vietnam’s orientation towards transforming its growth model in line with the green economy. On this basis, the present study aims to analyze the current state of green accounting adoption in Vietnamese enterprises, thereby proposing solutions to promote its implementation in a manner that is consistent with Vietnam’s conditions in the process of international integration and sustainable development.
