BENEFITS OF APPLYING CLOUD ACCOUNTING TOWARD THE QUALITY OF FINANCIAL REPORT INFORMATION

Abstract

Information in financial reports is an important factor for information users to evaluate a business's performance and make appropriate decisions. Improving the quality of financial reporting is a topic that not only receives attention from businesses but also researchers. Many studies have investigated the impact of applying cloud accounting on financial reporting information. This paper introduces the benefits that applying cloud accounting technology will bring to financial reporting information that has been verified from research around the world. In addition, the article also shows agreement with the researchers around the world in noticing that applying cloud accounting is necessary for Vietnamese businesses in the context of the explosion of science and technology, globalization and international integration in accounting in Vietnam today, especially with the instability that has occurred due to the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic.
