Abstract
Material flow cost accounting (MFCA) is one of the efficiency management tools that helps managers better understand the impact of the production process on the environment while increasing profits through improved material productivity and reduced costs. Furthermore, applying the MFCA to the production process helps accountants correctly and completely calculate the costs of all output products, including finished products and waste products, as well as the resulting emissions. The article aims to propose application solutions for MFCA in the steel manufacturing process at NatsteelVina based on an analysis of the current status of material flow in this company.
