The disclosure of sustainability related financial information of firms in Khanh Hoa province: status and solutions

Abstract

The article focuses on assessing the current status and proposing solutions for the disclosure of financial information related to the sustainability of businesses in Khanh Hoa province. Survey results from the leadership of businesses in Khanh Hoa province indicate that very few businesses have disclosed financial information related to sustainability in recent times. Some challenges facing businesses when disclosing financial information related to sustainability include limitations in financial and human resources, lack of clarity and consistency in the legal environment, as well as awareness of the necessity for businesses to disclose financial information related to sustainability. Finally, the article proposes solutions such as improving the legal environment, enhancing leadership awareness and capacity, investing in financial and technical capabilities. Additionally, promoting a sustainable business culture is also mentioned as an important part of ensuring the success of businesses in the future
