Abstract

This paper presents the application of SOBEK and MIKE11 softwares to consider the possibility of reducing the Saigon River's water level when building a series of regulating reservoirs in Can Gio district. The results obtained show that the larger the reservoir area, the lower the max water level of the Saigon River, which means that the drainage capacity in the urban areas of HCM city increases.
