This paper presents the wave interaction for different types of breakwaters applied in the coastal Mekong Delta by physical experiments on wave flume. The results show the effects of structural shape on wave tranmission, wave reflection and wave dissipation and present the differences of wave characteristics after passing through the porous breakwater and perforated both sides hollow breakwaters.
