Abstract

In recent years, climate change has become increasingly complex and unpredictable, greatly affecting people's lives and production. One of the most pressing issues in Vietnam is the increasing coastal and riverbank erosion, especially in the Mekong Delta region. To address this situation, in addition to existing solutions, it is necessary to propose, research, and apply appropriate and effective structural solutions for shoreline protection. Based on the analysis and evaluation of existing solutions, this paper proposes some new types of floating breakwaters which are fairly new in Vietnam
