Abstract
The problem of climate change - sea level rise together with the lowering of river water level and increasing salinity intrusion in dry season in the Red – Thai Binh river delta in recent years is a big challenge to water resources sector and water users in the area. This paper presents the results of the application of the 1-2D (Couple Model) between MIKE11 and MIKE21 to simultaneously simulate the river-sea dynamics and salinity intrusion in the estuaries area of coastal rivers and main braches of the Red-Thai Binh river downstream. This is correspnding to the current situation, climate change scenarios and sea level rise to the year 2030, 2050.Downloads
