Tác động đến môi trường và xã hội của các dự án thủy điện ở Việt Nam

Abstract

Hydropower development in Vietnam over the past two decades has contributed significantly to the country's economic development. However, the investment in hydropower construction is also the main cause of currently serious impacts on the livelihoods of millions of people. That is due to issues in migration and resettlement, changing landscape of water resources, negative influences on forest resources, fisheries, ecosystems and biodiversity in upstream and downstream dams. The paper presents the impacts on environmental and social aspects of hydropower projects in Vietnam.
