Some international regulations on foreigner's land and housing ownership and recommendations for Vietnam

Abstract
Regulations on land ownership, land use rights and home ownership rights of foreigners are differences between countries. Currently, there are three most common legal systems in the world, which are civil law, common law and religious law. The scope of this article will focus on understanding the laws of countries in two aspects: (1) Regulations on land ownership and (2) laws on home ownership rights of foreigners, in 5 countries: United States, United Kingdom, France, India and China. In particular, the United States (US) and the United Kingdom (UK) have common law systems. France is a country with civil law system. India is a country characterized by religious law system. In addition, China is classified as a socialist legal system, but procedural processes and judicial institutions imbued with civil law are also selected.
