Recycling Waste to Produce Organic Fertilizer in Agriculture in Thai Do commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province

Abstract

The inappropriate management of organic waste leads to a series of environmental and economic problems. The study was conducted in Thai Do commune to find out the positive and negative aspects related to the practice of waste recycling in agricultural production. 150 households were selected for interview, 06 in-depth interviews, 02 focus group discussions were carried out. The results show that the recycling of organic matter for agriculture has not been paid much attention, along with inorganic waste, which is an alarming environmental problem, requiring the joint efforts of all stakeholders.
