STRESS ANALYSIS ON STEEL PLATE CONNECTED BY BOLT THROUGH 3D MODEL

Abstract

The article analyzes a number of research results and design standards that have been carried out domestically and internationally on stress calculation in steel plate connections using bolts. A 3D simulation example for steel plate connection using bolts based on Abaqus software will be used to analyze and determine the stress values in the steel plate. These values will be compared with the results calculated using analytical methods. The comparison results ensure reliability as a basis for comparative analysis of other internal force values in the connection under the effect of external load.
