STUDY ON THE PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF SHIP PROPELLER AT DIFFERENT TIMES DURING ITS OPERATION

Abstract

Maintaining design characteristics of ship propeller plays an important role in ensuring its working efficiency. In practice, technical characteristics of the propeller is downgraded with time, leading to its efficiency reduction. This paper presents the results of a study evaluating the working efficiency of the propeller on the Container ship 566TEU at different times during its operation, including the time of new building and the time after docking for repairs.
