DYNAMICS OF A FLOATING CRANE CONSIDERING PAYLOAD HOISTING MOTION

Abstract

This paper calculates the oscillation of a system consisting of a crane put on a pontoon (is the so called a floating crane) taking system operation into account. The author introduces a dynamic model of a floating crane in which the differential equations describing the system were formulated based on Lagrange's equation. Numerical method applied for calculating system oscillation.
