Abstract

In previous studies, decouple neural networks have been studied to automatic ship berthing control as main controller. Conpared to existing controllers, the decouple structure of networks obtains better efficintive in controlling the rudder angle and the propeller revolution. However, the effect of wind disturbance have been still not considered in automatic ship berthing using the decouple structure. In this study, the effect of wind  has been rearched on automatic ship berthing control based on decouple neural networks. Numerical simulation results carried out show that the advantage of proposed berthing system under wind disturbace is better than that using the non-decouple neural network controller.
