Abstract

In this work, the results on the effect of thermo-mechanical treatment on the structure and properties of CuNi9Sn3 alloy are presented. The results shows that the process of deformation combined with heat treatment causes the appearance of spinodal decomposition in the research alloy. After deformation combined with aging at 350oC in 2 hours, tensile strength of the CuNi9Sn3 alloy reaches up to 1000MPa, elongation reaches up to 10%, meanwhile conductivity value is 14% IACS.
