CALCULATION OF INTERACTION PARAMETERS BETWEEN SHIP WITH THE GROUND OF THE FAIRWAY IN A QUASI-STATIC SETTING

Abstract

This paper proposes a calculation method of interaction parameters between ship and ground of the fairway in a quasi-static setting. This method is based on methodology of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping for specialized ships NAABSA. The influence of the parameters to the interaction between the ship bottom and the ground was analyzed. The analysis results show the direction of application of the proposed calculation method to the design and operation of specialized ships in necessary cases.
