CALCULATING THE DEVIATION COEFFICINTS OF MARINE MAGNETIC COMPASS CONSIDERING HIGH-ORDER COMPONENTS OF

Abstract

In this research, the author proposes a method to find out the deviation coefficients of marine magnetic compass considering high-order components of coefficients and a least square algorithm. By this way, compass deviation represented by basic fomular is closer to true deviation of magnetic compass.
