RESEARCH ON RISKS AND EFFECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL INCIDENTS BY DANGEROUS GOODS TRANSPORTATION IN INLAND WATERWAYS

Abstract

In recent years, the dangerous goods transportation in inland waterways in Vietnam has developed; however, this activity has many potential risks and incidents that cause environmental pollution. Nevertheless, there has not been a comprehensive assessment of environmental incidents arising from the dangerous goods transportation in inland waterways and their impact on the environment. It is on time for us to be properly aware of the harmful effects of environmental incidents, which arising from the transportation of this activity, thereby taking appropriate actions to facilitate this mode of development.
