THE IMPACT OF STEREOTYPICAL BELIEFS ON SCHOOL STIGMA AMONG STUDENTS AT THE VIETNAM WOMEN’S ACADEMY

Abstract

School stigma occurs as a form of psychological violence among students at higher education. As a result, it brings negative emotions and affects students’ studying progress. This paper analyzes the current situation of stereotypical beliefs among students, the correlation between stereotypical beliefs and school stigma among students, and a predictive model of the influence of stereotypical beliefs on school bullying among students at the Vietnam Women’s Academy. It aslo proposes solutions to minimize this situation, contributing to building a positive studying environment among students
