CURRENT STATUS OF THE EMULATION MOVEMENT “BUILDING VIETNAMESE WOMEN IN THE NEW ERA” BY THE VIETNAM’S WOMEN UNION (2022-2024)

Abstract

The XIII National Women’s Congress for the term 2022 - 2027 has launched the Movement of Emulation “Building Vietnamese Women in the New Era” for officials, members, and women across the country. The implementation of this movement is in close association with the studying and making of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics, and style. It is also in conjunction with the Development Strategy of the Vietnam Women’s Union through 2030, with a vision of 2035. This emphasizes the core role in women’s work and encourages society to promote gender equality. The article analyzes the current status of the implementation of the “Building Vietnamese Women in the New Era” emulation movement in two main areas: evaluating the leadership in the implementation of the emulation movement and assessing the activities carried out under the emulation movement. Additionally, the article examines several factors affecting the implementation of the emulation movement and proposes a number of solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the “Building Vietnamese Women in the New Era” emulation movement.
