ETHICS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN SOUTH KOREA AND LESSONS FOR VIETNAM

Abstract

Nowadays, the race to develop artificial intelligence (AI) between countries is at its hottest stage and South Korea is not out of this race. During the process of implementing the national AI development strategy, in addition to infrastructure investment plans and human resource training, South Korea have also simultaneously progressed discuss and develop ethical guidelines and principles related to the development and use of AI. South Korea not only wants to develop AI that is useful to humans, but also wants to use AI to preserve and nurture unique human nature without affecting these values. For South Korea, building and improving the nation's AI ethics is not a phase of the AI development strategy, but it must be a parallel process, transforming along with the industry's sustainable progress national AI
