As Vietnamese society modernizes, traditional marriage and family values are evolving. This study examines intellectual marriages in Hanoi through surveys and interviews with 306 participants from Hanoi universities/academies in 2024, exploring relationship dynamics, gender roles, and marital conflicts. Findings reveal shifts in education and income equality, though women still handle most household work. Key conflict sources include worklife balance, personality differences, and family pressures. The study highlights tensions between traditional expectations and modern career goals, contributing to discussions on gender equality, emotional connection, and work-life balance in contemporary marriages
