Abstract

By analyzing data from the Population Change and Family Planning Survey in 2018, the article discusses the current situation of contraceptive use of migrant women in Hanoi by age group, religion, educational level (compared with non-migrant women). Thereby, the contraceptive prevalence rate of migrant women increases slowly by age group, peaking in the age group from 40-44. The contraceptive prevalence rate of religious migrant women is low. The lowest contraceptive prevalence rate belongs to migrant women with upper secondary education. The contraceptive measures are not used by migrant women and it leads to the abortion in this area.
