Abstract

Te paper is writen based on the research “Improving the innovation capacity of Vietnamese female farmers” by the Vietnam Women's Union in 2021. Te aim of the paper is analyzing the factors that affect the innovation capacity in agriculture of Vietnamese female farmers: intrinsic innovation and autonomy of innovation, innovative style and innovationsupportive environment. Trough the method of collecting secondary data, the use of domestic and international studies’ scales, the research team designed a questionnaire and used a quantitative research method to survey 130 Vietnamese female farmers who had agricultural innovations in 6 provinces/cities in the North, Central and South regions of Vietnam.
Furthermore, the research team used multivariable regression method. Te study showed that the innovative capacity of Vietnamese female farmers in agriculture is affected by intrinsic motivation and innovation-supportive environment. Te results of the study are the basis that
help proposing solutions to improve the innovation capacity of Vietnamese female farmers in the feld of agriculture, which accounts for a large proportion of the economy
