Socialization of implementing priority policy for veterans in Dong Anh district, Hanoi city

Abstract

     Socializing the implementation of priority policy for veterans with great contribution to the war plays an important role in mobilizing the participation of the whole community to join hands with the State in taking care of the material and spiritual life of these veterans. The status of socialization the priority policy for veterans in Dong Anh district was surveyed on these specific programs: Building gratitude houses; giving savings books; caring for martyrs' relatives and Vietnamese heroic mothers; keeping memorial construction. The research results show that the level of participation of organizations and individuals in Dong Anh district in these activities is different. The recommendations to improve the effectiveness of socialization include: Promote propaganda; expand models of caring veterans inside and outside the district; improve the quality of policy implementation staff; promoting the role of local organizations and unions; promote the activeness and initiative of the veterans themselves and their families.
