Online teaching is not a novel pedagogical approach; however, its widespread adoption by Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and other Vietnamese universities did not materialize until 2021, coinciding with the Covid-19 pandemic. To enhance the quality of online teaching, it is necessary to evaluate student satisfaction after three years of implementation. The objective of this research is to construct and validate a measurement scale for medical student satisfaction with online learning at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine. A combined exploratory research design was conducted in four phases: constructing a draft scale, testing face validity, testing semantic validity, and testing statistical validity. Qualitative techniques (group discussions, interviews) and quantitative techniques (factor analysis and structural equation modeling) were used. As a result, a measurement scale consisting of three components (technology and classroom management, instructors, and study materials) with 14 variables was developed. After validation, the measurement scale demonstrated good validity and reliability. Therefore, it can be used to evaluate student satisfaction with online learning.
