Abstract
The paper investigates and analyzes dataregarding the effects of video games on adolescents’learning, skill development, and social interaction tounderstand the current situation and proposecorresponding solutions for this age group. Itexamines four factors (learning, social interaction,skill development, and personal behavior) byapplying the Theory of Planned Behavior and theTheory of Reasoned Action to clarify theirrelationship with video gaming. Additionally, thesurvey data is analyzed using data miningtechniques (data visualization) to analyze the surveyresults more deeply. The findings indicate that theinvestigated factors are closely correlated, with theimpact on learning being considered the mostsignificant influence.
