Abstract
The study focuses on educating gratitude for 5-6-year-old children through literary works, highlighting its role in personality formation and the development of social relationships. The research involved surveying 488 preschool teachers in Nghe An through questionnaires and indepth interviews, with data analyzed using SPSS. The results show that literary works not only enhance language skills and imagination but also effectively convey moral values. However, the use of modern teaching methods remains limited. The study contributes to the literature by proposing new measures, such as encouraging children to tell stories, creating real-life situations for children to practice, and thereby enhancing the gratitude education's effectiveness compared to previous studies.
